Position Summary:
** Maintain SQL Server instances, including initial configuration, deployment, planning, and operational tuning
** Perform database upgrades on the Microsoft SQL Server instances located remotely at each location
** Assist database developers and database architects with assembling deployment packages of the database
** Participate in the development and implementation of the databases as needed
** Maintain documentation for supported systems
Requirements:
** Education: BS in IT, Computer Science or related field.
** Experience: 3+ years as a SQL Server DBA. Microsoft Certification preferred.
** Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL Server report development
** Demonstrated technical documentation skills
** Demonstrated experience with testing procedures and methodologies to certify programs for promotion into production environments
** Experience and knowledge of Windows platforms and desktop productivity tools
